Education of the young person is a great responsibility that must be handled with care, love and deep respect for the human person. Education is a human right and a great value in any given society. When the Catholic Missionaries arrived in Uganda in 1879, they took education to be part and parcel of the work of evangelization. Wherever the Church was established, also a Church school was started.  That is how St. Kizito Secondary School came into being.

The school should add value to the education of the young already given in the family. The school must equip the young people to become useful members of the global family. The young must prepared with skills and values that will enable them face challenges that they will encounter in life.

Education should shape the person, given the person a name, a face and a character. Education should help the person acquire certain values that are essential to live a respectable and fruitful life.

St. Kizito, being a Catholic founded School must give an education with values and Catholic traditions. It is a blessing to have a plan that will guide us and give direction to the St. Kizito Secondary School fraternity.
