Sapere Aude. Dare to be wise. That’s the exhortation St. Kizito Secondary School, Bugolobi, gives us in its motto. A seemingly simple exhortation.
But the more we reflect on it, the more we realise that these two words – daring and wisdom – cannot and should not be taken lightly.
St. Kizito S.S Bugolobi has been in the Global Schools Partnership (GSP) Projects since 2004. We have been in partnership with Deptford Green School, London from 2004 to date and in 2012, our third partner; Rainbow College Lagos, Nigeria joined us in a tripartite British Council Connecting Classrooms Education Project.
We have a Behaviour Change Program besides academics which is compulsory to all new entrants. This is one of our most inspiring Life Saving Programme initiated in 1998 to curb the spread of HIV among youths. It is conducted by a team of experienced counsellors from Youth Alive Uganda, Holy Cross Ministries, Fr. Luzindana St. Kizito teachers.
